I wrote this song in 2022 for St Pius X Regional School's 2022 school year theme of studying the Saints. The lyrics are all about breaking the distance we feel to them - taking a perspective of many Christians especially children, the song considers how the Saints look so holy and hard to measure up to. It can be easy to feel intimidated by it to want to give up trying. But the refrain of "I'm called to be a Saint just like them" became the anthem for the children that we can be Saints too just by being holy where we are. Take a listen yourself and enjoy!
